1. To be able to apply knowledge and skills in the field of recreation to issues related to the management of organisations, institutions / institutions and activities related to the leisure industry.
2. Has detailed knowledge about the structure, function, tasks and lifelong development of the human organism at a level that can be used in the field.
3. Analyses/synthesises the legal regulations, national or international recreation policies related to leisure and recreation.
4. Knows at least one foreign language at the European Language Portfolio B1 General Level; at a level to communicate with colleagues from different nations.
5. Evaluates national and international developments in the field of recreation using professional foreign language knowledge.
6. Applies technical and tactical, sport-specific training plans and programmes in accordance with the rules of basic knowledge and skills for various sports branches.
7. Guides by taking responsibility as a team and project member in institutions, organisations and organisations that provide leisure and recreation services.
8. Develops measures and precautions by determining health, safety and risk factors in applications related to the field of leisure and recreation.
9. In accidents that may occur in field activities; carries out first aid and search and rescue work in disasters or extraordinary situations.
10. Evaluates the performance of people working together in the field of recreation by improving their professional competences, knowledge and skills as managers.
11. Plans and carries out projects and researches on issues related to the field by using appropriate research methods, and presents the results in a clear and understandable way.
12. Develops leisure and recreation organisations, institutions and organisations with applications such as marketing, social media, sponsorship, etc. and carries out studies to make them more efficient.
13. Reflects the therapeutic principles and functions of recreation to the programmes, activities and practices of organisations, organisations, institutions and institutions related to disabled and other disadvantaged individuals / groups.
14. Directs the employees to the target in line with their personality, culture and behavioural qualities by using their leadership skills with the awareness of being a pioneer in the units they work.
15. Reflects the knowledge about the relationship between the field of leisure and recreation with other disciplines (social sciences, management science, environmental sciences, etc.) to their practices.
16. Gives importance to self-learning, change, innovation and entrepreneurship that continuously improve professional knowledge and skills.
17. Has the ability to use technical facilities (computer, internet, databases, etc.) to access different and various sources of information (people, books, libraries, reports, etc.) related to facts, events and problems in the field of leisure and recreation.
18. Can carry out their studies independently by accessing the competence of using all kinds of mechanical / electronic tools and equipment necessary for their field and profession.
19. Works in a wide variety of volunteering and service organisations by developing sensitivity to social issues in recreation practices.
20. Carries out field activities and professional studies in accordance with the principle of sustainability with the awareness of protecting the environment, nature and natural resources.
21. Cooperates with others by exercising interpersonal communication skills in field research and professional studies.
22. Respect for a wide range of views and opinions with a positive and supportive attitude in professional and private life; shows multicultural sensitivity to differences.
23. Adopts the understanding of healthy life and lifelong sports and reflects it to the field studies.
